Welcome to the Global Minecraft Challenge! If you’re 24 or under and passionate about making your city a better place and Minecraft, you’re in the right spot.
The Young Gamechanger Initiative (YGI) is proud to present a unique global challenge that give you(th) the chance build healthier and enjoyable cities through public spaces.

Step By Step

Step 1: Explore the Challenge

Find out more about the Global Minecraft Challenge – Public Space Edition – and connect with the challenge community on Discord.


Step 2: Set Up Minecraft Build

Make sure you have Minecraft installed. You can check your version and update, if necessary, with these instructions. 


Step 3: Build in Minecraft

You have two options: you can select one of our pre-built Minecraft world or build your own with our advance building tutorial.
Available for download on April 1st.

Step 4: Submission window opens May 15th until May 31st

Create a description of the issue and solution you are focusing on. Submit via the Challenge submission form.
